Substantial Hailstones and Extensive Impact
Locals reported giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been hit with large hailstones.

Rescue organizations responded to nearly 600 emergency reports across the region, mainly for building damage but also for downed trees and flooding.

Moist weather were expected to linger along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both regions.

Health officials warned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
